Many things have happened recently. I just don’t have the blogging tenacity to blog it all. Among more interesting events… I turned one. Yes, yours truly is one year old! Yay me! Thanks for all the greetings, gifts and even dedicated blog post. One year old and with all the dollhandling and bodily abuse I’ve taken… the only noticeable injury I have is a crack on my neck. Other than that… I’m still rocking on!
In my extensive and illustrious career (of one year) in the food industry I have embarrassed myself quite a few times mistaking something for another due to sheer ignorance and lack of exposure. Little did I know that my date was referring to my food when she said my game was foul and I guess I must have looked like a fowl when I backed off thinking she was insulting my game. Or how about the time when I stayed silent at the table wondering why everyone worshiped truffle… when I’ve never had trouble eating truffles (of the chocolate kind)… or how you serve with a tureen but you eat the terrine but the terrine is not served in a tureen. Much can also be said about corks and cocks but I guess no one said it better than the guy my previous blog post about holding your cock in your right hand. Ahhhh… I’ve gone off the road again…

Red wine? Sure… why not!

Mojitos? Sure… why not!
Whiskey? Well… you get the picture… I never say “no”…
Anyway… the point I was trying to get at was that I met someone recently who never stepped foot into Hilton PJ’s Uncle Chilli’s because she mistook it for American Chili’s (now just Chili’s). Whilst that is a completely honest mistake (like game and game)… I told her that it was such a shame because she has missed years of fun at Uncle Chilli’s… Uncle Chilli’s has been around for ages! It is an “institution of fun” in Klang Valley! It is The Place Where U Belong.

The Thirsty Blogger showing us the art of pouring

“… and then Frat showed it to me and it was this…”
The Place Where U Belong now features a new menu. The new menu has been designed by Uncle Chilli’s Chef De Cuisine… Chef Carloz. The menu has been stripped down and simplified so that the food you get is comforting and familiar and above all suitable for bar dining. Burgers, sandwiches, wings… they got it all! Hey… don’t take my word for it… check out what the foodies have said about Uncle Chilli’s.
Brought up 2 SharE – “Crab bisque… I cleaned the bowl.”
Fat Boy Bakes – “The pricing is SURPRISINGLY reasonable for a hotel….”
Thirsty Blogger – “It was so goddam huge that i needed it cut in 4, and tapau-ed some extras.”
PureGlutton – “You still can have your dining privacy and thereafter move on to the main bar and dance floor for some red-hot action.”
I must thank the crew at Hilton PJ for allowing theQguides to sample the new menu and for also for inviting the food bloggers over. Lisa and I really had fun because it allowed us to meet some new people who we have not met before. I just pray that I didn’t embarrass myself in front of all the new friends we made by getting intoxicated… oooh who am I kidding… of course I did.

Beautiful and cool people ruined by a lousy photographer…
Food, drinks and babes for dinner… yesssssss!!!
Waste no time folks… book your dinner at Uncle Chilli’s now at theQguides.com . It is The Place Where U Belong!!!! How can that be wrong? Wow… I’m rhyming a lot in this post, perhaps I should be a host and propose a toast from coast to coast and boast on how this post will be the rearmost read post among all blog posts. Okay someone pass me a drink… I’m outta here.
