I’ll be honest. I don’t know how to start this blog post. I don’t know whether I’m having difficulty writing because of the drinks I had last night (*burp*) or because there is so much to say that I don’t know where to begin. I feel pretty sober and I don’t have a hangover so I guess it is the latter.
After resounding success from running the 1st dining experience at Hilton PJ (with food bloggers) , the team at Zest and theQguides agreed to run the dining experience again with a new set of food bloggers. This time round, we had thenomadGourmand, unkaleong, Cumi & Ciki, Babe_KL , Places and Foods and bangsar-babe. Oooh yes, those of you who follow this blog closely might have realised that bangsar-babe was also at the last one. Hahahha. Yes… bangsar-babe is so loved… she got a second invite. *wink*

Cindy introducing Zest
unkaleong making a booking on theQguides.com
Just like the previous run, we started the evening with a briefing on latest developments at theQguides and also an introduction to Zest and the team behind Zest. Of course, no one was bloody listening to me because the food bloggers were too busy catching up. I mean how dare they right? I’m Frat-freaking-Mustard King of… King of… errrm… nevermind. They were shouting across the table… throwing around business cards. It was like a market! Okay I lie. IT WAS WORST!
They all paid attention to Cindy!
Fortunately when it came to Cindy’s turn (Marketing and Communications Manager at Hilton PJ), everyone decided to behave. They kept so quiet that I thought something was wrong… I triple checked my fly to make sure the mouse was in the house.
Just a point to note, Zest was a showcase presentation to all the General Managers of Hilton hotels during the recent Asia GM’s Conference. So if you don’t know what Zest is… go check it out. NOW! Click here.
As you can imagine everyone was starving by the time we were done with the briefing. So without wasting any time, we all parked our big behinds at our allocated restaurants and started pigging out. I was extremely pleased to join Babe_KL and Capt’n Hook at Paya Serai because Capt’n Hook always has cool stories to share. Traveler’s tales. Reviews of the meals at Paya Serai, Genji and Toh Yuen can be found here:

Jealousy and domestic disputes
After dinner, we all chilled out at Uncle Chilli’s. Manila Spice set the mood for a crazy night of drinking. A few of us… errrm… okay fine… I… I lost myself in the moment and all I can say is good company + Manila Spice + alcohol = some very incriminating photos. Fortunately everyone has been very kind to spare me the awkwardness. What can I say? WE WERE HAVING FUN! Yeeeeee-haaaaaaaaa!!!
Hubba-hubba. Food bloggers or models?
Well there you have it. Hilton PJ – Part Deux. Oooh guess what? We are doing Part 3 this week! Stay tuned to see who got selected this time round.

Domestic disputes? heheheh…thanks for having us Frat!
No worries man… I have this feeling in my bones… that we need to do Pub Crawl Part 2!
